Stay in command with our easy tools to help you meet the growing demand as the season starts.

We’ve weathered the storm and now boating season is officially on the horizon. To prepare you for welcoming renters back on the water, we want to share a few useful tips to update your listing.

Update your calendar

Control your boat’s availability using your calendar. Mark dates available or unavailable and adjust the price for individual days or holiday weekends. Did you know you can also keep track of bookings by syncing your boatsetter calendar to your personal calendar?

To update your calendar, navigate to your Owner Dashboard, click “My Boats”, select “Manage Boat”, then click “Calendar” on the left sidebar.

Enable instant book

Booking requests for Instant Bookable boats are automatically approved, bringing you more bookings with less work. When you enable Instant Book, you set the rules, welcome message, and advance notice, allowing for added control and peace of mind. Plus, your boat receives an Instant Book icon on our search pages so it stands out to renters.

To enable Instant Book, navigate to your Owner Dashboard, click “My Boats”, select “Manage Boat”, then click “Instant Book” on the left sidebar.

Update your cancellation policy

Our three cancellation policies (flexible, moderate, strict) are designed to keep you protected. We recommend offering a flexible policy, which allows for free cancellations up to 24 hours in advance. If trips are cancelled within the 24 hour time period, you receive the full funds.

To update your cancellation policy, navigate to your Owner Dashboard, click “My Boats”, select “Manage Boat”, then click “Manage Boat” on the left sidebar.
