Anne's Beach, Islamorada.

Anne’s Beach is a natural beach located at the southern end of Upper Matecumbe Key, on mile marker 73.5. It’s the most well-known of the beaches in Islamorada. Although it is small, it attracts many visitors. One reason why is that it’s a pet-friendly beach.

This beach is named after Anne Eaton, a local woman who did a lot to preserve the ecosystem. The park near Anne’s Beach was recently rebuilt for around $1.6 million. It consists of a boardwalk, six pavilions, and two parking lots.

2. Library Beach

Bring a book on your trip to Islamorada’s Library Beach, a silent gem sitting behind the Islamorada Library. While it has no official name, locals call it Library Beach. Boat to get away from the crowd. Though you might catch a few snorkelers, you’ll be able to enjoy your own company here.

3. Southwinds Park Oceanside

Southwinds Park is a beach located on the bay side of Islamorada. It’s a beautiful green acre with lots of palm trees. Catch the ocean breezes here. If you’ve brought your kayak aboard, you’re in luck! Southwinds Park Oceanside has a kayak launch.

You can also book a fishing charter and come to Southwinds Park for a top fishing excursion.

4. Founders Park Beach

Founders Park Beach, Islamorada.

Come to the beach located in Founders Park for vistas of white sand shores and tranquil waters. Visitors here are treated like locals. Needless to say, this place is perfect for family outings. You can dock at Plantation Yacht Marina, which is connected to the park.

Here you’ll find picnic tables, tiki huts, and grills. In addition to sand volleyball courts and playgrounds for small children. Pro Destination Tip: Founders Park Beach is a great place to go swimming due to its shallow waters.

5. Holiday Isle Beach

Holiday Isle Beach is a well-visited destination. This beach is connected to the Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina, which was recently recognized as one of the top 10 best resorts in the Florida Keys.

Dock at the resort for a specialty drink at the Holiday Isle Beach Tiki Bar. We recommend ordering the world-famous Bacardi Rum Runner. Take a postcard-perfect snapshot while here.
