Gail is the mother of three boys who have familiarity with 20' or so boats. Gail herself does not do boats and does not have a state operators license like her son's do. The family was pleasant to be with (I was the "skipper") and no problems encountered. The only disappointment is that as I was finalizing tieing up and plugging into electricity they were in a rush to get off boat (we did arrive 15 min before original arrival time too). They left their trash on board and basically a dirty boat with food crumbs on most surfaces (there were two young kids on board) . Not sure I'll rent to a crew of 12 people again.
Great experience. Boat was in great condition, communication was good, Dan made sure we were set up and was generally very helpful. Bareboat daysail, took about half hour to go over the boat systems in the morning and then Dan met us at the dock when we returned.
Great person to deal with. I Would rent from him again!!
Reuben was very easy to deal with and replied within minutes. The boot still looks like new an was perfectly cleaned. Unfortunately the engine had some sensor problems and would not exceed 2500rpm which did not allow it to go on plane. If the engine is fixed this is a great boat to rent.
Frankie was friendly, easygoing, and was the PERFECT renter. He's the 'real deal' - an experienced boater who knows how to operate and handle a boat, as well, as navigate the local waterways. He treated my boat as if it was his own, I welcome him aboard anytime, and I hope he chooses my boat again.
